Three main approaches have emerged as integral to furthering the work of the Mighty Waters Initiative to utilize our waterways as a tool to create jobs and reinvigorate our communities.
- Greater public sector participation and improved policymaking
- Collaborative efforts among our region’s colleges and universities
- Commitment from the private sector to consider the findings and recommendations of this Task Force as a blueprint for economic development and job creation which can lead to a sustained economic growth for our region well into the 21st century.
