TREC’s corporate partner Bechtel wanted to complete a legacy project. With their support in rallying their employees and the community at large…the Family Fishing Pond was created out of a stagnant Columbia Park lagoon.
The next project rallied more than 600 volunteers working together to build the Playground of Dreams in Columbia Park…in just one week.
Bateman Island was burned in a series of arson fires…that led TREC and Bechtel to coordinate a clean up project that removed 15 tons of trash from the island.
